Rugby

I’ve always wanted to watch rugby. And the World Cup right now is actually giving me a great opportunity to understand the game.
there are a couple of people in office that I talk to about the game and therefore that’s interesting. But would have been really great to chat with you about it.
You would have loved it as well and talking to you would’ve been really nice.

The last time I spoke to noel he said he’s completely forgotten about you and he was actually questioning whether he was that close friends with you in the first place.

We know that isn’t true and that he was actually very good friends with you. but the reality is he has moved on and for some reason I still keep thinking about you.  The conversations I had with you even if they were few and far between could only have been possible with you, and I miss being able to talk that way now.

I always knew I would dream of you again. In South Africa? Really?

It’s a recurring dream with you now just like how I used to dream about running away from someone and hiding below the bed and then trying to scream and my voice not escaping me when I was a little kid, and then going up to dream about being a superhero who is fighting evil if you remember that time on the terrace. And now my dreams have become this recurring vision of you suddenly appearing and pulling a prank and saying you never really died. It feels so annoying real each time where I completely believe that this is all just been a joke and you never really went anywhere. And this time I dreamt the same thing in South Africa where I’ve been so busy to call anyone at all, and then of all people you appear in my dream pulling the same prank again.

Letting you go

You know how they say it takes some days of consistently doing something to make it a habit? Religions all over the world have some sort of protocols for it. The Hindus have 9 days of Navaratri or 21 days of Ganesha. Muslims and Christians have their 40 days of abstinence. And once you follow this, you usually come out cured of whatever you thought you couldn’t get away from. In your case, it beat all these benchmarks. You haunted my mind, many times subconsciously in my dreams, even till a few months back. And every one of this dreams had the same premise. You saying this was all a prank and you’re perfectly fine.
